Your Questions, Answered
What previous guests have asked us
Are pets allowed?
We're sorry but we're not able to accept your furry friends to stay on holiday. The Villa needs to be easily cleaned and remain fresh for the next guests who come to stay. Sometimes neighbouring animals will visit the Villa and, sadly, we need to ask guests to avoid feeding them otherwise they'll never leave again!
Does anyone else have access to the Villa?
Damianos Villa is yours to enjoy for the duration of your stay. That includes the pool, barbecue, gardens and grounds. You may encounter our pool guy, Yiorgos, who comes early in the morning every couple of days or Theo the gardener cutting the grass once a week. Maxine usually sees to watering a few pots and will pop up from the village to welcome you. Other than that, you'll see the maid three times a week and, occasionally, a stand-in maid when it's our usual lady's day off.
Are there any cleaning fees or additional charges?
Cleaning and laundry expenses are covered in the villa rental, as are air conditioning, the pool guy, your welcome pack and anything else you can think of. We provide a maid service on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with a linen change on Mondays and Thursdays. Our lovely maid works very hard to look after you and so we encourage guests to leave a generous tip on departure. The only time you would pay for anything extra would be a surcharge for an additional guest bed over and above the usual eight people - something that would be discussed at the time of booking - and if there was damage to the property due to carelessness.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is in line with other reputable holiday accommodation providers. You can read about it in detail in our Terms & Conditions.
What address should we enter into the Satnav?
None at all! If you're picking up a hire car at the airport and driving up to Agios Stefanos, we ask you to follow the written instructions we'll send you before your journey. Post codes and postal addresses aren't a reliable way of finding your way around in Corfu, and you might find yourself in Agios Stefanos, NORTH WEST!
Is the house wheelchair accessible?
The driveway, parking and pool area, the lower ground floor bedroom and en-suite, the garden terrace with seating area and the outdoor kitchen, dining and barbecue areas are wheelchair accessible. The first and second floor rooms are accessed via steps.
Can we find out more detailed information about the villa?
We have a very comprehensive House Handbook, which we will email to you before your arrival. It's full of lots of helpful information about the villa and the locality. It also contains useful contact information and emergency phone numbers.
